The size of a concrete batching plant determines the capacity of the machine. The bigger the capacity, the bigger will be the size of the plant. Concrete plant capacity essentially means the quantity of concrete produced in an hour. This production of concrete is measured in terms of cubic meters. The greater number of cubic meters (of concrete) a plant produces, the higher is the capacity of batching plant. For example, our Atlas ASCB 120 is rated at 120 cubic meters an hour. It is a stationary type of machine. Similarly, AMCB 60 model is rated at 60 m3/hr. It is a mobile type of machine.

Types Of Concrete Plant – Stationary, Mobile and Portable

The smallest size of concrete batching plant supplied and exported by Atlas can produce approximately 8-9 m3 of concrete per hour. This is essentially a mini concrete batching plant. Apart from this on the higher end. We manufacture and supply stationary type of concrete plants which can be stationed at a single place to produce concrete non-stop. The bigger models in this product range goes up to 200 m3/hr.

Our smaller models are known as RM series, RM means reversible drum mixer. We use a reversible drum mixer for mixing purpose. Different capacities available are 8-9 m3/hr. and 12-13 m3/hr. It is a very compact plant. That is not very long or big in size. The design is easy to use and employs a simple mechanism to produce quality ready mix concrete. There are a total of 3 bins one each for aggregate, sand and cement. Each bin is with a load cell. This machine has provision for separate weighing of water. The reversible drum mixer will accept all the materials for mixing. The best part is that both the models are available with electric motors or with diesel engines.

Our portable type of concrete batch plant sizes are 10 m3 to 30 m3 per hour. We have a few different models lined up in this capacity range. The designs vary a bit with different sizes of concrete plants. These plants will have a total of 4 different bins for aggregate and sand. There is separate provision for weighing of cement and water. There is separate provision for feeding cement which is transferred to the cement weighing unit. The mixing unit here can be different type like a pan mixer, twin shaft mixer or a planetary mixer. A centralized control panel will take care of all the operations of the plant from inside a control cabin.

Sizes Of Concrete Batching Plants Available As Mobile Type Are From 20 m3 to 60 m3/hr.

These are bigger sized plant, fully mobile type and designed for transporting over long distances. There are 4 bins for aggregates and sand. Separate weighing for cement and water gives ample of options to work with different recipes. The mixer here is twin shaft type. The plant can be erected on site in a quick time, it does not require heavy foundation for setting up the plant. The prewired design of the plant enables quick assembly and fast shifting of the sites. Control panel is inside a cabin which is folding type.

The stationary type of batching plant is manufactured from 30 to 200 m3 / hr. This plant comes with modular structures which can be loaded in to different containers. The stationary batching plant component sizes will vary accordingly to capacity requirement. The bigger concrete plant like 90 m3/hr. It will be of bigger size compared to the plant of capacity 45 m3/hr. Each of its component will be bigger in size to accommodate bigger components and a heavy mixing unit.  They will require more space to install, more time for installation. These are ideal for producing non stop concrete from a single place.

Theory and actual capacity of hzs concrete batching plant

The hzs concrete batching plant has models from HZS25 to HZS240, the theory capacity of 25-240m3/h, which can cover most of the commercial or engineering project use. The model of the HZS concrete mixing plant is named according to the productivity, for example, the HZS50 station has a theoretical productivity of 50 cubic meters per hour. In actual use, there is a gap between the theoretical productivity and actual productivity, this is a common sense of concrete mixing plant model and productivity, and we can choose the batching plant equipment that suits for production needs considered the actual capacity.

Concrete batching plants have applications in various projects as well as in commercial and mixed enterprises. The process of concrete batching plant is loading – weighing – conveying – lifting – stirring – discharging – loading – transportation. First, the theoretical capacity of HZS concrete mixing plants

The theoretical capacity is a kind of production efficiency calculated by the concrete mixer according to the theoretical “calculation condition”. When the actual concrete mix ratio and the amount of water and admixture are not considered, the output of the concrete mixer is calculated within one hour, therefore, theoretical capacity has a very good reference value. Theoretical capacity calculation method: theoretical discharge volume of concrete mixer (m3) × 3600 (s) / theoretical production cycle (S). The calculation of theoretical capacity does not take into account the actual situation, such as the actual raw material mix ratio, the amount of water used, and the amount of admixture added; nor does it take into account the actual mixing cycle, batching plant management and truck mixer scheduling, especially manual operation has a great relationship with the production cycle and the operational proficiency. 

Second, the actual capacity of the hzs concrete batching plant

We can’t simply calculate the theoretical productivity as actual productivity. The theoretical capacity of HZS60 concrete batching plant is 60m3/h. In fact, it is difficult to ensure that the output is 1 cubic meter, the middle agitation loss can only be obtained by actual production. There is also the management of the batching plant and the scheduling of the mixer truck, which will definitely make the production cycle more than 60s, so the actual productivity may only 50m3/h.
