The SJ-PMD DP 600 shaker screen measures 626 x 710 mm, which is more compact compared to other screen panels, making it the suitable replacement for Derrick Dual Pool 600 series shale shakers. Each DP 600 shaker requires 6 to 8 panels. An innovative actuated screen compression system effectively pushes the center of the panel downwards, securely sealing it against the frame which significantly enhances mud recovery.

Screens are designed to replace traditional flat screens, providing 125% to 150% more effective area without needing to modify shaker construction. Utilization of these screens leads to improved drilling fluid quality and increased productivity.

Featuring a distinctive wave pattern in the mesh cloth, screens can be mounted on appropriate shakers using hook strips or wedge-like fasteners. Compared to flat screens, these have a higher handling capacity due to their larger surface area. We offer screens in various sizes to cater to our clients' specific needs.

Different layers are designed with varying densities. Properly organizing and arranging these layers enhances the screening effect. With increased surface area provided by the waved cloth attached to the metal backing plate, the effective area of a screen reaches 125% to 150% of a flat screen, allowing it to accommodate a higher flow rate of drilling fluid.

Applications:

A shale shaker screen is engineered to process material fed from the hopper onto the screen. The vigorous vibrations of the shale shaker enable finer materials to separate from larger particles, allowing them to pass through the mesh. Meanwhile, larger particles continue to bounce off the end of the mesh panel at the rear of the screen.
